Helleborus

Winter flowering with class and character
Helleborus, also known as Christmas rose or hellebore, is one of the few perennials that bloom in the middle of winter. This plant offers color and ornamental value from December to March, often through snow and frost. Helleborus is loved for its leathery foliage, long-lasting flowering and stylish flowers in shades of white, pink, purple and even black. Ideal for borders, shady spots, pots and winter displays. It is winter-hardy, perennial and particularly attractive to early pollinators. A must-have for premium gardens, landscapers and seasonal sales.
Helleborus – blooms when everything else is still asleep
Helleborus is a strong, evergreen perennial that blooms when almost nothing else is in bloom: from late autumn to early spring. Popular varieties include Helleborus niger (the classic white Christmas rose), Helleborus orientalis (the profusely flowering Lenten rose) and numerous hybrids with double flowers or special colours.
The flowers often bloom for weeks and retain their ornamental value even when they are decaying. Helleborus likes humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade. Once well established, they can last for decades without transplanting. Ideal for luxury gardens, perennial combinations and stylish winter planting.
